EdTech Support (MESG)


Zoom (Web / Video Communications) tool is used regularly within the WSU-SOM curriculum. Zoom expands the traditional classroom to an interactive space for web-based communications, and virtual educational experiences such as; lectures, patient panels, and Problem Based Learning sessions(PBLs).

Recommended for SOM Curriculum Activities (Small Group / CBLs / Review Sessions)

Many of the SOM Curriculum activities (Small Group / CBLs / Review Sessions) are now held through Zoom. Within the curriculum, there are small group sessions/activities that require participating faculty and facilitators to create their Zoom sessions independently. The training documents below were developed specifically to guide the faculty with the scheduling and set-up of these types of autonomous sessions.
